SHORT BIO:

Attended Penang Free School in Malaysia and, later, Susquehanna University and Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, USA. Holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Film at some point. An enthusiast of the close-up and subscribes to the Bazinian myth of cinema-reality, much to his students’ sporadic ambivalence and occasional dismay. Enjoys the visual aesthetic of Mann and Lynch. Often quotes from The Archers’s “I Know Where I’m Going!” Currently, lectures on film as a part-time adjunct faculty.
